Regen Revolution
An international long-form production documenting regenerative viticulture and sustainability at 12 wineries across the United Kingdom, Portugal, France, Germany, Argentina and the United States.
The brief
Each winery needed to retain its own identity while contributing to a connected body of work. The production also needed enough structure and coverage to support five hour-long films covering all 12 wineries, a sixth combined film and shorter campaign pieces. Differences in country, climate, landscape and approach to regenerative farming had to become strengths of the series rather than make it feel fragmented.
How it was made
Tim Wildman and Ben Dowie co-directed the six-week production across all locations, with Ben responsible for cinematography and editing. Interviews, seasonal work, landscape and production detail were captured within a common structure, allowing each film to stand alone while giving the combined film a coherent visual and narrative foundation. Maintaining the same small core team across six countries created continuity in both the interviews and the visual treatment.
What was delivered
Five hour-long films covering the participating wineries, the combined film Regen Revolution, a winery-introduction montage, shorter edits and a trailer. Together they form a flexible body of material that can introduce individual producers or present the broader international movement as one connected story.
